Nelson is the chief architect and guru who guides and grows the company. He brings extensive music business and digital strategy experience, weathered wisdom, excellent creative judgment, and confidence to help manage this entertainment distribution company. He established one of the 1st 50 thousand dot coms in the world in May of 1995 (Altavoz.com), established a direct relationship with Best Buy and provided three music streams for launch of WindowsMedia.com. He’s active in The Recording Academy and The County Music Association.

 
Help Earth Foundation Washington, DC 2008 – present

Founder

Nelson’s work bringing together entertainers and the NGO community to support Tsunami Band Aid led him to launch the Help Earth Foundation (HEP), which now helps and serves causes, individuals, and projects that bring aid to their fellow man, animal and environment without prejudice or want of return. Presently HEF provides Hyper-local Community Portals in the Metropolitan DC area.

 
Hastatus, LLC Washington, DC 2005 – 2008

Hastatus was started by three former Clinton Administration alumni who secured contracts with government agencies, NGOs and private enterprises to drive community outreach and communications planning, including the District of Columbia’s Family Emergency Planning Guide and Children’s Emergency Planning Guide in 2006.

Took over the role of CEO in 2000 with a mission to re-stabilize existing company and respond to new entries in the condo/HOA document world. Through Nelson’s leadership, CPWI’s traditional concentration in document management has given the company a unique perspective on how to maintain, manage, and publish complex document sets, providing the infrastructure to facilitate common-interest communities, government, and industry working together towards a common goal. Prior to this, Nelson was the manager of the mortgage division.

 
LeapFrog Productions, Inc. Rockville, MD 1991 – 1995

Founder, President

Produced concerts, film, videos, TV, and Virtual Reality programming. LeapFrog has production credit from MTVSports, ESPN, and produced a nationally retailed video, Kayaking Extreme, which raised money for the Olympic U.S. Canoe and Kayak Team, and more than 100 productions at the Kalorama Studio complex in DC.
